Eileen J. Morris, is a director, actress and educator. She worked closely with the founder of The Ensemble Theatre, George W. Hawkins, from 1982 until his death in 1990. As artistic director, she has produced over 78 productions, which include four world premieres and 57 regional premieres. Under her artistic leadership, The Ensemble Theatre received the 2013 Best Season Theatre Award from the Houston Press. She was featured in the Women In Theatre Magazine (December 2011 Issue), a conversationalist with Table Talk through the University of Houston’s 2011 Women’s Studies Department, and honored at the National Black Theatre Festival with the Larry Leon Hamlin Producer Award. She received the 2012 Missouri City Chapter of Links Inc. Our Choice Award. She is a board member, secretary and Cultural Arts Committee Chair of the Midtown Management District, and a board member of the national organization, The Black Theatre Network. She is the only woman in the country that has directed eight of the August Wilson Ten Play Cycle.

Kiya Green (She/Her) is an actor based in Houston, TX, who graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BFA in Theatre, emphasizing acting and directing. During her last semester of college, Kiya interned at The Ensemble Theatre and had the amazing privilege to be selected as their new BOLD Artistic Fellow. She is thrilled to be working with The Ensemble and is eager to help the company in any way she can.
Her interests include dancing, singing, directing, playwriting, and experimenting in devised theater. Kiya’s recent acting credits include La Cenerentola, The Flow, The Piano Lesson, Everybody, Our Town, Bootycandy, and The Yellow Boat.
Fun fact: Kiya was the 2024 Irene Ryan National Acting Scholarship winner at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and was also awarded The Mark Twain Scholarship for Comic Performance and the College of Fellows Jane Alexander Award for Acting.
Kiya is excited to start her professional artistic journey and cannot wait to see where God takes her!

Rachel Hemphill Dickson secured an MFA in acting at University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and Master of Social Work at University of Houston. She has taught theatre at University of Houston-Downtown and Prairie-View A&M University. Rachel is a member of Dramatist Guild and a board member of Scriptwriters Houston. Highlighted projects include: (Playwright) Sameness - Contemporary Arts Museum Houston; (Actor) Front Porch Society by Melda Beatty - The Ensemble Theatre at the 2019 National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; (Producer) SWH 27th Annual 10x10 Ten Minute Play Festival; and (Director) Giorgee Best Director Award for Pipeline by Dominique Morisseau at The Ensemble Theatre.

Krystal Uchem is a theatre artist born and raised in Houston, Texas. Krystal is grateful to be able to perform in spaces that give power to truth and storytelling. She approaches every role with a commitment to exploring human condition, and most importantly with a creative frame of mind and an openness to collaborate. Krystal’s passions exist not only on the stage, but behind the scenes as well. She earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Houston while continuing her career in acting. In the future Krystal hopes to continue to create theatre that illuminates us as people and work on plays that promote social discourse, dialogue and social change.
